Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the city of Brandon. From the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1), take the exit towards Brandon (Highway 10). Follow Highway 10 south until you reach the intersection with Richmond Ave. Turn left onto Richmond Ave and continue until you reach Park St. Turn right onto Park St, and Rideau Park will be on your left at 305 Park St, Brandon, MB R7A 5M5. There is street parking available near the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the Brandon Transit website for the latest bus schedules. You can take Bus Route 1, which travels throughout the city and has stops near Rideau Park. The closest stop to the park is on Park St. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the park entrance. Be sure to check the fare schedule, as a single ride typically costs around $2.50 CAD.
Walking
If you are already in the downtown area of Brandon, you can easily walk to Rideau Park. Start at the City Hall located at 410 9th St, then head east on 9th St towards Princess Ave. Turn right onto Princess Ave and continue until you reach Park St. Turn left onto Park St, and you will find Rideau Park on your right at 305 Park St, Brandon, MB R7A 5M5. The walk is approximately 20 minutes.
Bicycle
For cyclists, Brandon has bike lanes that make it easy to reach Rideau Park. If you're starting from downtown, take the bike lane on 9th St heading east, then turn right onto Princess Ave, and finally left onto Park St. There are bike racks available near the park entrance for secure parking.
