From Winnipeg, take the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) west towards Portage la Prairie. Continue on Highway 1 for approximately 120 kilometers. At the junction with Highway 16, take the exit towards Brandon and continue on Highway 1 for another 90 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Highway 5. Turn onto Highway 5 and continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Riding Mountain National Park. Follow the park road to the Brule Trail parking area, which is well-marked.
