If you're starting from downtown Winnipeg, walk to the Winnipeg Transit bus stop at Main Street and Portage Avenue. Take bus route 18 heading towards 'Confederation College'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Preston Avenue at Kingsway' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head south on Preston Avenue for about 5 minutes. Vimy Ridge Park will be on your left at 821 Preston Ave.

If you're close to the Assiniboine River, you can walk to Vimy Ridge Park. Head east along the riverwalk until you reach the Forks. From the Forks, take Main Street heading north. When you reach the intersection with Preston Avenue, turn right. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you'll find the park on your right at 821 Preston Ave.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Winnipeg. Start from downtown and head west on the Assiniboine Riverwalk. Once you reach the point where the river forks, take the pathway leading you north towards Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue until you reach Preston Avenue. Turn right and cycle for about 5 minutes to reach Vimy Ridge Park, located at 821 Preston Ave.
