Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you are starting at the Winnipeg Transit Exchange located at 120 Main Street, take Bus 18 towards 'Bridgwater'. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the stop at 'Preston at Portage'. From there, walk south on Preston Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Vimy Ridge Park at 821 Preston Ave. The park will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are in the downtown area, walk towards the Assiniboine River and take the walking path along the river. Continue walking west until you reach the Forks area. From there, cross over the bridge towards the West End and follow the route along Isabel Street. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Preston Avenue and walk south until you reach Vimy Ridge Park at 821 Preston Ave.

    Start at The Forks and head towards the Assiniboine River pathway. Follow the pathway west for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Preston Avenue. Turn left on Preston Avenue and continue biking south for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at Vimy Ridge Park located at 821 Preston Ave. The park is located on the right side of the street.
