Car

Start from the center of Mbomou. Head southeast on Avenue de la République towards Avenue de la Nation. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, take the left onto Route Nationale 6. Follow this road for about 30 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the route to Chinko Nature Reserve. After approximately 40 kilometers from the junction, you will see a sign for Chinko Nature Reserve. Turn right and follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the reserve. Be aware that this final stretch may require a 4x4 vehicle due to rough terrain.
Public Transportation

From Mbomou, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading towards Bangassou. Inform the driver that you want to disembark at the junction for Chinko Nature Reserve. The taxi-brousse ride typically costs around 5,000 CFA francs and takes about 1.5 hours. After getting off at the junction, you will need to hire a motorcycle taxi (also known as an 'okada') to take you the remaining 40 kilometers to the reserve. Negotiate the fare with the motorcycle taxi driver, which should be around 10,000 CFA francs. Prepare for a bumpy ride as the road can be rugged. Once you reach the entrance of Chinko Nature Reserve, you can purchase your entry ticket.
