From there, follow the signs to Laguna Chaxa, which is located approximately 60 kilometers from San Pedro. You will travel on Route 27, which is a well-maintained road leading directly to the lagoons in the Salar de Atacama region. The last stretch involves a few gravel roads, but they are generally accessible with a standard vehicle. Be aware that there is a small entrance fee to access the reserve.
