Walking
If you're in the downtown area of Arica, head towards Avenida 21 de Mayo. Walk north until you reach the intersection with Calle Prat. Continue walking along Avenida 21 de Mayo, which will take you toward the coast. Once you reach the beach, turn right onto the coastal path. Keep walking along the coastline until you see the steep hill with the Morro de Arica. The walk should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

Public Bus
From the main square (Plaza Colón), look for the bus stop on Avenida 21 de Mayo. Take any bus heading towards the Costanera del Mar. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Morro de Arica. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to Morro de Arica, or simply walk toward the prominent hill you can see from the bus.
