Car
If you are driving from Puerto Aysén, head southeast on Route 7 (Carretera Austral) for approximately 40 km until you reach the junction with Route 225. Turn left onto Route 225 towards Río Ibáñez. Follow Route 225 for about 20 km until you reach the town of Río Ibáñez. Continue driving for another 10 km, and you will find the entrance to the Cerro Castillo National Reserve. The road may be unpaved in some sections, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is available at the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Cerro Castillo via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Puerto Aysén to Río Ibáñez. Buses run regularly from the main terminal in Puerto Aysén. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately CLP 3,000. Once you arrive in Río Ibáñez, you can either walk (about 10 km) or take a taxi to the entrance of the Cerro Castillo National Reserve. Taxis are available in the town, and the fare should be around CLP 5,000.
