Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Coyhaique, the capital of Aysén Region. From the city center, take Avenida Baquedano heading east. Continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ruta 7 (Southern Highway). Turn left onto Ruta 7 and drive for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to the Simpson River Viewpoint - Urban Park. The viewpoint is located just off the highway and offers parking facilities.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, take a local bus from Coyhaique to the Simpson River area. Buses frequently depart from the Coyhaique bus terminal. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Simpson River Viewpoint - Urban Park. Depending on the bus service, you may need to walk a short distance from the drop-off point to reach the viewpoint. The fare should be around CLP 1,500.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Simpson River and prefer a more active approach, you can access the viewpoint by walking. From the nearest bus stop, follow the signs leading to the park. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful scenery along the way. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as some sections may be uneven.
