Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main city in Central Valley, such as Talca or San Fernando. Head north on Ruta 5 Sur (the Pan-American Highway) towards San Bernardo. Follow the signs for Ruta 5 Sur and continue for approximately 150 km. Once you reach San Bernardo, take the exit onto Caletera Ruta Cinco Sur Ote and follow the signs for Laguna Torca National Reserve. The entrance is located at J790, Caletera Ruta Cinco Sur Ote. Make sure to pay attention to any tolls along the route, as there are several on Ruta 5.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Laguna Torca National Reserve via public transportation, first take a bus from your location in Central Valley to Santiago. From the main bus terminal in Santiago, take the Metro Line 5 (Green Line) towards Plaza de Maipú and get off at the 'Pajaritos' station. From there, you can catch a bus heading to San Bernardo. Once in San Bernardo, look for local buses or shared taxis that go directly to Laguna Torca National Reserve. The fare for the bus from Santiago to San Bernardo will typically be around 2,000 CLP, and the fare for the local bus to the reserve can vary, but expect around 1,000 CLP.
