Car

If you are traveling by car, start from La Serena city center and head south on Avenida del Mar. Continue straight until you reach Avenida Francisco de Aguirre. Turn left onto Avenida Francisco de Aguirre, and the Faro Monumental will be on your right after approximately 2 km. Look for the large white lighthouse as a landmark. Parking is available along the avenue, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.

To reach Faro Monumental via public transportation, you can take a local bus from La Serena. Look for bus routes that head towards the coastal area or specifically to Avenida Francisco de Aguirre. The bus stop closest to Faro Monumental is 'Parada Faro' along Avenida Francisco de Aguirre. The fare is approximately 500 CLP. After disembarking, walk about 200 meters towards the coast, and you will see the lighthouse.
