If you are near the main plaza of Coquimbo, Plaza de Armas, start walking towards Avenida Costanera. Head southwest for about 10 minutes until you reach the coast. Once you reach the coastline, turn left and continue walking along the waterfront for approximately 15 minutes. You will see the Puerto de Coquimbo on your right at Juan Melgarejo 676.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus terminal in Coquimbo, take bus number 50 towards La Serena. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the 'Puerto de Coquimbo' stop. It should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards Juan Melgarejo Street (the port will be visible). The address is Juan Melgarejo 676.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. If you are at a popular location like the Casino Enjoy Coquimbo, inform the driver to take you to 'Puerto de Coquimbo' at Juan Melgarejo 676. The ride should take around 10 minutes depending on traffic.
Bike Rental
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops. Start from the coastal bike path near the Avenida Costanera and head towards the Puerto de Coquimbo. It’s a scenic ride along the coast and will take approximately 20 minutes.
