From the city center of La Serena, head to the nearest bus terminal, Terminal de Buses de La Serena. You can walk there in approximately 10 minutes. Once at the terminal, look for a bus heading to Coquimbo. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at the Coquimbo bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards Avenida Costanera, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow Avenida Costanera north until you reach Juan Melgarejo Street, then turn left. The Puerto de Coquimbo will be on your right.
