Car
If you are traveling by car, start in the center of Futaleufu. Head northwest on Avenida 21 de Mayo toward Calle V. O'Higgins. Continue straight onto Ruta 7 (the Pan-American Highway) for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Torres del Arrayan; there will be a turn-off to the east. Follow the dirt road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Torres del Arrayan. Please note that the road can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is advisable.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, catch a local bus from Futaleufu to the nearest bus stop that services the route toward the Torres del Arrayan area. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated stop, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers along a marked trail that leads directly to the site. It is recommended to ask the bus driver or locals for the best stop to disembark for Torres del Arrayan.
Walking/Hiking
If you prefer to hike, you can start from the center of Futaleufu, taking Avenida 21 de Mayo toward the entrance of Ruta 7. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the dirt path leading to Torres del Arrayan. This hike can take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace, and you’ll enjoy scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry enough water.
