If you're driving, take Route 5 (Carretera Panamericana) south from Puerto Montt. Continue on Route 5 for approximately 180 km until you reach the turnoff for Route 225 towards Hornopirén. Follow Route 225 for about 70 km until you arrive at Hornopirén. From Hornopirén, take the local road towards Caleta Pichanco for about 15 km. Follow the signs to Puente Rio Blanco, which will be on your right. Make sure to have cash for any tolls along Route 5, which might cost around CLP 1,500 to CLP 3,000 depending on the vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach Puente Rio Blanco via public transportation, first travel to Hornopirén by taking a bus from Puerto Montt. Buses to Hornopirén leave from the Terminal de Buses in Puerto Montt. The trip takes about 5-6 hours and costs approximately CLP 8,000 to CLP 12,000. Once in Hornopirén, you can take a local taxi or a shared colectivo (shared taxi) to Caleta Pichanco, which is about 15 km away. The fare should be around CLP 3,000 to CLP 5,000 per person.
