Public Transport
From Puerto Montt, take a Buses Fierro, Jordán, or Quillaipe bus towards Chaicas or Caleta La Arena. These buses leave from the main terminal in Puerto Montt. Ask to be dropped off at Chaica, which is about 35 km south of Puerto Montt on Route 7. From Chaica, it's approximately 4 km to the park ranger station. Buses to Chaica cost around $3.50 USD. Keep in mind that the bus may leave you 4km away from the park entrance.

Driving
From Puerto Montt, head south on Route 7 towards Carretera Austral. After approximately 35 km, you'll reach Chaica, where a sign indicates the road to the park entrance on the left. The park ranger station is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Alternatively, to reach the Lago Chapo sector, continue south on Route 7 for about 9 km to Chamiza. Before the bridge, turn left towards Correntoso and drive 19 km to the park entrance. Note that the road to the park can be gravel in some sections.
