If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the city of Valdivia. Head north on Route 5 until you reach the junction for Route T-941, located near the town of Río Bueno. Take the T-941 road towards Río Bueno and continue driving for approximately 28 kilometers. The Puente Chirre will be on your right side, identifiable by its height and structure. Public Transportation
To reach Puente Chirre via public transportation, begin by taking a bus from Valdivia to Río Bueno. Buses leave regularly from the Valdivia bus terminal. Once you arrive at the Río Bueno bus terminal, you will need to take a local taxi or a shared van (colectivo) to reach Puente Chirre. This last leg of the journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes and may cost around CLP 3,000-5,000 depending on the mode of transport.
