Altos de Lircay National Reserve, located in the Maule region of Chile, is a captivating destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Created in 1996, this 121.63 km² reserve protects a diverse range of ecosystems in the Andean foothills.The reserve's landscape is characterized by native beech forests, clear rivers, and impressive mountains, including views of the Descabezado Grande and Cerro Azul volcanoes. The Lircay, Claro, and Blanquillo rivers flow through the area, adding to its scenic beauty.Altos de Lircay is a biodiversity hotspot, home to various plant and animal species.
