Getting There

• Car

  Start by driving from the center of Santiago towards the north. Take Route 5 Norte (Pan-American Highway) towards Colina. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Colina (exit 16). Continue on Avenida San Carlos, which will become Avenida Chacabuco. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Calle La Pirámide. Turn left onto Calle La Pirámide and continue until you see signs for Cerro Catana. There is limited parking available near the base of the mountain, so be sure to arrive early.

• Public Transportation

  From the center of Santiago, take the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) to Pajaritos Station. At Pajaritos, transfer to the bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Colina, such as the buses marked 'Colina' or 'Lampa.' The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Colina, you may need to take a taxi or a local bus to reach the base of Cerro Catana, which is about 10 km from the bus station. Make sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver before starting your journey.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you're in Santiago and prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply input 'Cerro Catana, Colina' as your destination. The ride will take around 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Be prepared for a fare that may range from CLP 20,000 to CLP 30,000 (about $25 to $40 USD).
