If you're driving from the main cities in Norte Chico, head towards Route 5 (Pan-American Highway). Drive south until you reach the exit for Valparaíso (approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic). Once in Valparaíso, follow signs to the city center. You can use your GPS to navigate to P.º Dimalow 290, where Cerro Alegre is located. Parking can be found in nearby public lots, but be sure to check for parking fees, which typically range from CLP 500 to CLP 1,000 per hour.

Public Transportation

To reach Cerro Alegre via public transport, take a bus from your location in Norte Chico to Valparaíso. Buses frequently depart from major towns like La Ligua or Quillota. Once in Valparaíso, you can use local buses or taxis to get to P.º Dimalow 290. Alternatively, you can walk if you prefer to explore the city. Expect bus fares to range from CLP 3,000 to CLP 5,000. If taking a taxi or rideshare from the bus terminal, it will cost around CLP 2,500 to CLP 5,000 to reach Cerro Alegre.
