Car
If you are driving from La Serena, take Route 5 South towards Antofagasta. After approximately 97 kilometers, take the exit towards Route 1 at the town of Huasco. Continue on Route 1 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Parque Nacional Pan de Azúcar. Be aware of the park entrance fee, which is approximately CLP 2,000 per person.
Public Transportation
From La Serena, you can take a bus towards Huasco. The bus departs from the La Serena terminal and the journey takes around 2.5 hours. Once in Huasco, you will need to take a taxi or local transport to reach the entrance of Parque Nacional Pan de Azúcar, which is about 20 kilometers away. Total costs may vary but expect to pay around CLP 5,000 for the bus and CLP 10,000-15,000 for the taxi.
