If you are driving from Rancagua, take Route 5 south towards Santiago. After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards Paine. Continue on Ruta 5 for about 15 km until you reach the town of Paine. Once in Paine, follow signs towards Cerro Cantillana. The mountain is located roughly 10 km from the town center. You'll need to navigate through local roads, which may not be paved. It's recommended to use a GPS or a map application for accurate directions. Be aware of the road conditions, especially during rainy weather.

From Rancagua, catch a bus to Paine at the Rancagua bus terminal. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Paine, you can take a local taxi or rideshare to Cerro Cantillana. The taxi ride will take roughly 15 minutes and cost around CLP 5,000 to CLP 7,000. Alternatively, you can ask locals for directions and walk to the trailhead, which is about 10 km away from the town center.
