Getting There
Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Torres del Paine National Park. From Puerto Natales, the most common route is to take Route 9 east towards Route 35. After approximately 70 km, turn onto Route 9 towards the entrance of Torres del Paine. Once you reach the park entrance, there is a fee of around $35,000 CLP per person (subject to change). Continue driving along the main road inside the park for about 30 km until you reach the parking lot near the Cuernos del Paine area. From the parking lot, it’s a 30-minute hike to the Mirador Cuernos viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. Buses operate frequently and the journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee of around $35,000 CLP per person. From there, you can either take a shuttle (if available) to the Cuernos area or start hiking from the entrance. The hike to the Mirador Cuernos viewpoint will take around 1-1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to check the bus schedule for your return trip, as services can be limited later in the day.
