Getting There

• Car

Continue on Route 5 until you reach the junction for Route 58, which will take you towards Coihueco. Follow Route 58 until you reach the town of Coihueco, then follow the signs to Nevados de Chillán. The drive from Puerto Montt takes approximately 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Be aware that fuel stations may be sparse in remote areas, so fill up your tank before heading out.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from major cities like Temuco or Chillán to Coihueco. Buses from Temuco to Chillán run frequently and take about 2 hours. Once in Chillán, transfer to a local bus or taxi to Coihueco. The total bus fare ranges from CLP 5,000 to CLP 10,000 depending on the distance and service.
