Getting There

Walking
From the center of Puerto Varas, head south on Avenida Vicente Pérez Rosales. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn right onto the promenade and follow it along the shore of Lago Llanquihue. You will pass several parks and viewpoints along the way. After about 500 meters, you will see Lago Llanquihue ahead. The lake is well-marked and you can enjoy beautiful views along your walk.

Public Transport - Bus
From the main square in Puerto Varas (Plaza de Armas), walk to the nearest bus stop on Calle San Ignacio. Take bus number A-1 towards Ensenada. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Lago Llanquihue stop. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After getting off the bus, walk towards the lake, which will be visible from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Puerto Varas. Start from the rental shop and head towards Avenida Vicente Pérez Rosales.
