Bus
From the central bus terminal in Rancagua, take a bus heading towards Buin. Look for buses with 'Buin' displayed on the front. The journey should take approximately 30-45 minutes. When you arrive at the Buin bus terminal, exit the bus and head towards Cam. Padre Hurtado. The Museo Andino is located at Cam. Padre Hurtado 0695, just a short 10-minute walk from the terminal. Head southeast on Av. O'Higgins, then turn left onto Cam. Padre Hurtado, and you will see the museum on your right.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in Rancagua. Simply provide the driver with the address Cam. Padre Hurtado 0695, Buin, Región Metropolitana. The ride should take around 25-35 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking and Public Transport
If you are near the Rancagua Plaza de Los Héroes, first walk to the Rancagua bus terminal (Terminal de Buses). From there, take a bus to Buin as mentioned above. Alternatively, if you want to enjoy a longer walk, you can walk to the bus terminal (around 20 minutes) and then take a bus to Buin. Once you arrive at Buin, follow the walking instructions provided in the bus guidance above.
