Getting There

Walking
From the center of San Pedro de Atacama, head east along Caracoles Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Domingo Atienza Street. Turn left onto Domingo Atienza Street and follow it until you reach the main square. From the square, take the road heading southeast, which becomes the Ruta 23. Walk along this road for approximately 4 kilometers. You will see signs for Laguna Piedra along the way. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Laguna Piedra is located on the right side of the road, just after a small hill.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Pedro de Atacama. Start from the main square and head east on Caracoles Street. Continue to Domingo Atienza Street and turn left. Keep going until you reach the intersection with Ruta 23. Once on Ruta 23, head southeast and bike for about 4 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Laguna Piedra. The bike ride is pleasant and provides a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery.
