Getting There

Car
To reach the Tarapacá Giant by car, start from the city of Iquique. Take Route 5 (Panamerican Highway) north towards Huara. The drive is approximately 175 km and takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. As you approach Huara, look for signs directing you to Iluga. Turn onto Route A-1 towards Iluga and follow it for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for 'The Tarapacá Giant'. There are no entrance fees.

Public Transport
To reach the Tarapacá Giant via public transport, take a bus from the Terminal de Buses in Iquique to Huara. The bus ride takes about 2 hours and costs approximately 4,000 to 5,000 CLP. From Huara, take a local bus heading towards Iluga. The journey to Iluga takes approximately 45 minutes. From Iluga, the Tarapacá Giant is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the main road until you see the landmark.
