Getting There

  • Car

    If you're starting from Ushuaia, head northwest on Avenida San Martín towards Avenida Maipú. Follow the signs for Ruta Nacional 3 (RN3) heading out of the city. Continue on RN3 for approximately 10 km until you reach the junction for Ruta Provincial 30 (RP30). Take a left onto RP30, which will take you towards the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Keep driving along RP30 for about 15 km until you reach the park entrance. Note that there is an entrance fee of around ARS 1500 (about 15 USD) per car for accessing the park. Once inside, follow the signs to the Beaver lookout point, which is located a short distance into the park.

    From Ushuaia, you can take a bus to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Look for the local bus services that head towards the park, such as 'Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego' buses that leave from the central bus terminal in Ushuaia. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes and costs approximately ARS 700 (about 7 USD). Once you arrive at the park, you will need to walk or use park-provided transportation to reach the Beaver lookout point within the park.
