Bus
From the center of Valdivia, head to the main bus terminal located at Avenida Alemania 1220. Look for buses heading to 'Corral' or 'Caleta Chaihuín'. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Caleta Chaihuín bus stop, you will find yourself in the village of Corral.
Boat
Alternatively, you can take a boat from Valdivia to Corral. Head to the dock located near the Plaza de la República. Look for the boat service that operates between Valdivia and Corral. The boat ride takes around 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Corral dock, you can walk to Caleta Chaihuín, which is a short distance away.
Walking
If you find yourself in Corral after arriving by bus or boat, Caleta Chaihuín is close by. Simply head southeast along the shoreline. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. The walk is scenic and should take about 15-20 minutes.
