Public Bus
From the main bus terminal in Valdivia, take a bus heading towards 'Panguipulli' or 'Los Lagos'. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at 'Camino a Pilolcura', as not all buses may go directly to this route. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you get off at 'Camino a Pilolcura', look for signs or ask locals for directions towards Reserva Natural Pilunkura, which is located approximately 1.5 km down the road.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Valdivia. Head towards Avenida Alemania and follow the path leading to Camino a Pilolcura. The total distance is about 6.5 km from the city center and should take around 25-30 minutes of cycling. Once you reach Camino a Pilolcura, continue for about 1.5 km until you reach the entrance of Reserva Natural Pilunkura.
Walking
For those feeling adventurous, you can walk from the city center. Start from Plaza de la República and head towards Avenida Alemania. Continue straight until you reach Camino a Pilolcura. The walk is approximately 6.5 km and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow Camino a Pilolcura for another 1.5 km to reach the entrance of Reserva Natural Pilunkura.
