Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Valdivia city center, head to the main bus terminal (Terminal de Buses de Valdivia). Look for the bus company 'Buses JAC', which operates routes to Oncol Park. Purchase a ticket to 'Los Laureles', the nearest stop to the park. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Los Laureles stop, walk approximately 1 kilometer along Los Laureles street, following the signs indicating the direction to Oncol Park. You will pass some local houses and beautiful scenery along the way.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in downtown Valdivia. Once you have your bike, head towards Avenida Colón and then take a left onto Avenida Alemania. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Los Laureles street. Turn right on Los Laureles and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you reach Oncol Park. The ride offers scenic views and is a great way to explore the surroundings.

• Walking

  If you enjoy walking and the weather is nice, you can take a long stroll to Oncol Park. Start from the center of Valdivia and walk along the riverfront towards Avenida Colón. Continue walking straight until you reach Avenida Alemania. From there, take a right and walk until you reach the intersection with Los Laureles street. Turn left onto Los Laureles and continue walking for about 5 kilometers. The walk will take around 1.5-2 hours, but you can enjoy the natural scenery along the way.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct and quicker option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber or Cabify. Simply set your destination to Oncol Park, located at Los Laureles 222, Valdivia, Los Ríos. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. This is the most convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer not to navigate public transportation.
