    From Valle de la Luna, head back towards San Pedro de Atacama on Route 23. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers (about 20 miles) until you reach the intersection with Route 27. Turn left onto Route 27 and drive for about 10 kilometers (6 miles). Look for signs for Laguna Chaxa, which will lead you to the entrance of the Laguna Chaxa area.
