Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey in Valparaíso city. Head north on Route 68 towards Puchuncaví. After about 40 km, take the exit towards Puchuncaví/Quintero. Continue on Avenida del Mar for approximately 8 km. You'll find Playa El Abanico at Av. del Mar 1350, Puchuncaví. There is usually parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking if required.
Public Transportation
To reach Playa El Abanico using public transportation, take a bus from Valparaíso to Puchuncaví. Buses frequently depart from Terminal de Buses de Valparaíso. Once in Puchuncaví, you can take a local taxi or a second bus that heads towards Quintero, ensuring to get off at the stop closest to Avenida del Mar. Walk along Avenida del Mar for about 10 minutes until you reach Playa El Abanico, located at Av. del Mar 1350. Total cost for the bus ride is usually around CLP 2,000 to CLP 3,000.
