Car
If you're driving from central Valparaíso, head south on Avenida Pedro Montt, and follow signs for Ruta 68. Merge onto Ruta 68 and continue for about 8 kilometers. Take the exit toward Calle Altamirano, which will lead you directly to Playa Las Torpederas located at Altamirano 22100. Parking is usually available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which may cost around CLP 1,500 to CLP 3,000 depending on the duration.
Public Transportation
To reach Playa Las Torpederas using public transportation, take a micro (local bus) from central Valparaíso. Look for the buses heading towards Playa Ancha or those that mention 'Torpederas' in their route. The fare is typically around CLP 600. Once you alight at the closest stop, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the beach at Altamirano 22100. Be sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary, especially on weekends.
