Getting There

    If you are already in Cerro Concepción, you can easily reach the Piano Staircase by walking. Start from the Plaza Sotomayor, located at the base of the hill. Head uphill towards the famous Ascensor Concepción (a funicular), which is located on the same street as the plaza. Take the Ascensor up to the top. Once you exit the funicular, walk straight on the Calle Concepción, then turn left onto Calle Beethoven. The Piano Staircase is located at Beethoven 302, just a short walk ahead. Keep an eye out for the colorful murals along the way!

  • Public Transport (Funicular)

    You can take the Ascensor Concepción to save some energy while climbing uphill. Board the funicular at Plaza Sotomayor. The fare is about 300 CLP (Chilean Pesos).
