Walking
If you are starting from the main square, Plaza Sotomayor, walk towards the waterfront along Avenida Pedro Montt. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Blanco. Turn left onto Calle Blanco and walk until you reach the intersection with Calle Fisher. Turn right onto Calle Fisher. Escalera de Colores will be on your left, a vibrant staircase that is hard to miss.
Public Bus
From Plaza Sotomayor, head to the nearest bus stop and take any bus that heads towards Cerro Alegre or Cerro Concepción. Get off at the stop near Calle Almirante Montt. From there, walk downhill towards Calle Fisher. Turn left onto Calle Fisher, and you will soon arrive at Escalera de Colores on your left.
Funicular
Make your way to the Ascensor Concepción (Concepción Funicular) located near Plaza Victoria. Take the funicular up to Cerro Concepción. Once you exit, walk down Calle Almirante Montt towards the waterfront until you reach Calle Fisher. Turn left onto Calle Fisher, and you will find Escalera de Colores on your left.
