Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey in the city of Bucaramanga, Santander. Take Route 45 towards San Gil. After approximately 90 km (about 2 hours), you will reach San Gil. From San Gil, continue on Route 66 towards Barichara. Follow the signs to Juan Curi Waterfall, which is located near the town of Paramo. You will need to park your car near the entrance, where you may have to pay a small entry fee, typically around 5,000 COP per person.

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Bucaramanga to San Gil. Buses depart frequently from the main terminal in Bucaramanga and the journey takes about 2-3 hours.
