Car
From the city of Cali, take the Autopista Sur towards El Cerrito. After approximately 30 km, take the exit toward El Cerrito/El Placer. Continue on the road toward El Placer for about 12 km until you reach the junction at the crucero de El Placer. From there, follow the signs toward Corregimiento Santa Elena. Drive for about 8 km on the road leading to vereda Amaimito where Museum Sugarcane is located. Look for signs indicating 'Museo de la Caña de Azúcar' as you approach the museum.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the main bus terminal in Cali, take a bus heading to El Cerrito. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at El Cerrito, you can take a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to reach the Museum Sugarcane. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Corregimiento Santa Elena, vereda Amaimito, approximately 8 km from the center of El Cerrito. The taxi fare should be around 15,000 to 20,000 COP.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi directly from Cali to Museum Sugarcane. This will be more expensive, with fares ranging from 80,000 to 100,000 COP, depending on traffic conditions. The trip should take around 40-50 minutes. Ensure you have the museum's address ready for the driver: Corregimiento Santa Elena, vereda Amaimito, 8 Kms de el crucero de El Placer.
