If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, such as Bogotá or Medellín. Take the Autopista Norte (North Highway) towards Villavicencio. From Villavicencio, continue on Route 40 towards San José del Guaviare. Once you arrive in San José del Guaviare, head towards Cra. 24 and follow the signs to Stone Town located at Cra. 24 #7-21. Parking is usually available nearby.

To reach Stone Town via public transportation, you can take a bus from Bogotá or Medellín to Villavicencio. Buses leave frequently and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. From Villavicencio, catch a bus to San José del Guaviare. This leg of the journey takes approximately 6-8 hours. Once in San José del Guaviare, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to reach Cra. 24 #7-21, where Stone Town is located.

In San José del Guaviare, you can easily find taxis to take you directly to Stone Town. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. The cost may vary, but expect to pay around 10,000 to 20,000 COP depending on the distance and time of day.
