Follow the signs that direct you to Tena. As you approach Tena, turn onto the Vereda Santa Bárbara road. The waterfall is located about 6 km from the town center, so keep an eye out for signs indicating 'La Chorrera'. Parking is available near the trailhead, but make sure to arrive early as it can get crowded on weekends.

To reach Tena's La Chorrera Waterfall using public transport, start by taking a bus from Bogotá's Terminal de Transporte to Tena. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Tena, you can catch a local taxi or use a motorcycle taxi to reach Vereda Santa Bárbara. The taxi ride should cost around 10,000 to 15,000 COP. The waterfall is approximately 6 km from the town, so be prepared for a short drive.
