If you are traveling by car, start from Ibagué, the capital of Tolima Department. Take the Autopista del Café (Route 40) and drive toward Bogotá. Follow the signs for the Bogotá - Villavicencio road. As you approach Soacha, look for Exit 1 towards Soacha Centro. Continue on the main road until you reach the intersection with Calle 13. Turn left onto Calle 13 and follow it until you see signs for Tequendama Falls Museum. The museum is located at Soacha, Cundinamarca. Ensure you have cash for any tolls along the route, which could cost around 15,000 COP.

For those using public transportation, start at the Terminal de Transportes in Ibagué. Purchase a ticket to Bogotá. The bus journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Bogotá's Terminal de Transporte, head to the TransMilenio bus system. Take a bus to Portal del Sur and transfer to a bus heading towards Soacha. After reaching Soacha, ask locals for directions to Tequendama Falls Museum. The bus fare from Ibagué to Bogotá is around 25,000 COP, and the TransMilenio fare is approximately 2,500 COP.
