Public Bus
From the central bus terminal in Armenia, you can take a bus heading towards Calarcá. The buses are frequent, and you should look for one that displays 'Calarcá' on the front. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you reach Calarcá, ask the driver to drop you at the nearest stop to Quindío Botanical Garden. From there, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the garden entrance. Follow the road signs towards the garden, and if you're unsure, locals are friendly and can help guide you.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can opt for a taxi from anywhere in Armenia. Simply tell the driver 'Jardín Botánico Quindío' or provide the address: 'Km 3 vía al Valle del Cauca, Calarcá'. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand or ask the driver to use the meter.
Walking
If you're staying close to the city center and enjoy walking, you can make your way to Quindío Botanical Garden on foot. Head towards the southern part of Armenia and look for signs directing you to Calarcá. It’s a scenic route, but be prepared for a longer walk of about 1.5 hours. Carry water and wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven in places.
