Bus
From the central area of Armenia, head to the main bus terminal known as Terminal de Transportes de Armenia. You can take a taxi or walk depending on your location. Once at the terminal, look for buses heading to Salento. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Salento. Once you arrive in Salento, you can either walk towards the Santa Rita waterfall or hire a local jeep or taxi to take you there.
Jeep
After arriving at Salento, you can find local jeeps (also known as Willy's) near the town square. Ask the driver to take you to Santa Rita waterfall. The jeep ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the price before you depart. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Salento to Santa Rita waterfall, start from the main square in Salento. Head southeast on Calle 6 towards Carrera 5. Continue straight until you reach the trailhead. The walk is about 4 km and takes approximately 1 hour. Follow the signs along the trail leading to the waterfall. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the trail can be uneven.
