Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the city of Armenia, head south on the Autopista del Café (Route 29) for about 30 km. Take the exit towards Córdoba and continue on the road for another 10 km. Look for the signs pointing to Cascadas del Río Verde. The location is approximately 5 km from the main road, so keep an eye out for the entrance which will be marked. Parking is available near the entrance.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cascadas del Río Verde via public transport, take a bus from Armenia to Córdoba. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal. Upon reaching Córdoba, you can either take a moto-taxi or walk approximately 5 km to the entrance of the cascades. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver or the conductor where the bus will drop you off in Córdoba, as there are multiple stops.

• Walking

  If you choose to walk from Córdoba after taking a bus from Armenia, follow the main road south out of town. It’s approximately a 5 km walk to the entrance of Cascadas del Río Verde. Be prepared for some uphill sections, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

• Moto-Taxi

  After arriving in Córdoba, you can hire a moto-taxi to take you directly to the entrance of Cascadas del Río Verde. The fare is usually around 10,000 - 15,000 COP, and the ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
