Car
If traveling by car, take the Autopista Medellin towards El Retiro. After passing El Retiro, continue on the Autopista and follow the signs for Guatape. Once you reach Guatape town, follow the signs to Guatape Rock. There is a parking area at the base of the rock where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
If using public transportation, take a bus from Medellin Terminal del Norte to Guatape town. From Guatape town, you can either take a taxi or walk to Guatape Rock. Taxis are readily available and can take you directly to the rock. If walking, follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
