Walking
If you are in El Prado, start at the intersection of Calle 50 and Carrera 46. Head east on Calle 50 for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Rio. Turn left (north) onto Avenida del Rio, and continue walking for approximately 5 minutes. Gran Malecón will be on your right, facing the river. Look for the entrance near the park area.
Public Bus
From any point in El Prado, find the nearest bus stop that services the 'Circular' or 'Alameda' lines. Board the bus heading towards 'Centro' and stay on for about 5-7 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Avenida del Rio. From there, walk north on Avenida del Rio for about 5 minutes until you reach Gran Malecón, which will be on your right. A bus fare typically costs around 2,500 COP.
Bicycle Rental
Look for a local bike rental service in El Prado; many hotels and hostels offer bicycles for rent. Once you have a bike, head north towards Avenida del Rio. Cycle along Avenida del Rio for about 10 minutes, enjoying the riverside views. Gran Malecón will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
