If you are driving from Cartagena, take the Route 90/Transversal del Caribe highway and head towards Barranquilla. After about 45 minutes, you will see signs for Santa Catalina. Follow the signs and take the exit towards Santa Catalina. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Cartagena. Once you arrive in Santa Catalina, look for signs directing you to the Volcan de Lodo El Totumo, which is located just outside the village. Parking is available near the entrance, but there may be a small fee of around 5,000 COP.
