Buses with destinations like 'Puerto Colombia' or 'Salgar' will be your best options. Take the bus and enjoy the ride, which should take around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Salgar stop, which is close to the beach area. From there, walk towards Cl. 9 and you will see Castle Salgar ahead.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from any of the bike-sharing stations in Barranquilla. Start your journey heading east towards the waterfront. Follow the road along the river until you reach the coastal road leading to Puerto Colombia. Continue biking along this route for about 10 km until you reach Cl. 9. Castle Salgar will be on your left as you approach.

Walking
If you are close enough, you can walk to Castle Salgar. From the Parque Cultural del Caribe, head southeast towards Calle 72, then turn left. Continue on Calle 72 until you reach the waterfront. Follow the coastline until you reach Puerto Colombia. As you enter Salgar area, look for Cl. 9. Castle Salgar will be located at Cl. 9 #1316. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk there.
