Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the city center of Cartagena, head to the main bus terminal located at 'Terminal de Transportes de Cartagena'. Board a bus heading towards 'Playon del Blanco' or any bus that lists 'Parque Espíritu del Manglar' as a stop. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, walk towards the entrance of the park, which is clearly marked.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city center. Head southeast towards 'Av. San Martin'. Continue straight until you reach 'Carrera 1', then turn left. Follow the signs towards 'Playon del Blanco'. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Look out for the park’s entrance on your right.

• Walking

  If you are up for a walk, start from 'Plaza de la Aduana' in the city center. Head towards 'Calle 30', then continue straight until you reach 'Carrera 1'. Turn right and walk along the waterfront. Follow the coastline until you reach the area of 'Playon del Blanco'. This walk should take about 1 hour and is a great way to experience the local atmosphere, but ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
