Walking
If you are starting from the historic center of Cartagena (Centro Histórico), head towards Plaza de los Coches, then walk down Calle de la Media Luna towards the Clock Tower. Continue along Calle 30 until you reach Avenida San Martin. Turn left on Avenida San Martin, continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle 7. Turn right onto Calle 7, and you'll see Malecon Bahia de las Animas on your left, along the waterfront.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the historic center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Venezuela. Take a bus that is headed towards Bocagrande. Once you disembark at the Bocagrande area, walk towards Calle 7. You will find Malecon Bahia de las Animas along the waterfront. Make sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Bocagrande.

Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in the historic center. Follow the coastal bike path along the waterfront. As you ride, you will pass through the Bocagrande area.
